Why The Fencing Crew
Built on trust.
Held to a standard.
We're not the biggest fencing company in Simcoe County โ and we don't want to be. We'd rather build fewer fences and build every one of them right. That's the promise behind every project we take on.
Fully Insured
A $2 million liability policy underwritten by Lloyd's, plus full WSIB coverage on every job.
Written Contracts
Every project is confirmed with a simple, clear written contract before a single post is set.
On Time, On Budget
We show up when we say we will, every time.
Community First
Locally owned and operated. We build fences for our neighbours โ and we live with the result.
What We Build
Top quality fencing
installation.
From wood privacy fences to chain link enclosures, fence repairs to custom gates โ The Fencing Crew delivers honest, lasting work across Barrie, Orillia, Innisfil, Angus and South Simcoe County, Ontario.
Wood Fencing Installation
Pressure-treated pine and cedar wood fences built post-by-post for strength and longevity. We install privacy fences, Good Neighbour (shadowbox) fences, board-on-board, and picket styles throughout Barrie, Orillia, Innisfil, Angus and South Simcoe County. Every wood post is set deep in concrete and backfilled to resist frost heave, so your fence stands straight through Ontario winters. Optional PostMaster+ galvanized steel posts add decades of rot-free performance behind a traditional wood look.
Chain Link Fencing Installation
Durable, low-maintenance galvanized chain link fencing for yards, pet runs, commercial properties, and security enclosures across Simcoe County. We install chain link in a range of heights and gauges with tension bars, top rails, and terminal posts set in concrete. Chain link is an economical, see-through option that stands up to wind, weather, and wear โ ideal for large properties and industrial sites in Barrie, Orillia, and surrounding communities.
Fence Repair & Restoration
Broken posts, sagging gates, leaning panels, and rotted sections repaired fast. We assess the damage, replace only what's needed, and match existing materials so the repair blends in. From a single blown-down panel after a storm to a full re-straightening of a leaning fence line, our crew restores wood and chain link fences throughout South Simcoe County โ extending the life of your investment without a full replacement when possible.
Custom Gate Installation
Custom-built wood and metal gates sized to your opening and hung square for smooth, sag-free operation. Walk gates, driveway gates, double gates, and automated gate setups โ each gate is framed, braced, and hung on heavy-duty hardware built to handle daily use. We match gates to your existing fence so the whole installation reads as one cohesive, well-built line across your property.
The PostMaster+ System
Steel where it counts.
Wood where you see it.
The PostMaster+ by Master Halco is a galvanized, black powder-coated steel fence post engineered to be hidden inside your wood fence. You get the warmth of timber on the outside โ and a foundation that will outlast it.
The Standard Choice
Traditional wood posts
A proven, time-tested foundation. Set right, treated wood posts give years of dependable service and keep the classic all-wood look many homeowners love.
- โFamiliar and natural โ the classic all-wood look many homeowners expect.
- โWith proper setting and drainage, wood posts last for many years.
- โOver a long lifetime, the ground line is where wood eventually shows its age.
The PostMaster+ System
PostMaster+ steel posts
- +Galvanized steel cannot rot โ moisture at the ground line is a non-issue.
- +Engineered to stand straight through 73+ mph winds and heavy snow.
- +Fully hidden inside the wood โ both sides of the fence look identical.
- +Backed by a limited lifetime warranty from Master Halco.
Never Rots
Galvanized and black powder-coated steel posts will never rot, warp, or succumb to ground moisture โ eliminating the one weakness wood posts can have at the ground line.
Withstands 73+ MPH Winds
Engineered strength that holds straight through Simcoe County storms and heavy snow loads.
Invisible From Both Sides
Designed to be fully covered by wood โ you get the clean look of an all-wood fence with the strength of steel. A true Good Neighbour fence.
Limited Lifetime Warranty
Backed by Master Halco's limited lifetime warranty. You won't be replacing these posts in a few years.
Works With Any Wood Style
Built for standard 2ร4 rails and almost every privacy, picket, and board-on-board fence style we install.
Outlasts The Fence Above It
When the pickets and rails eventually need replacing, the posts stay put โ your next fence goes up on the same foundation.
